Founded in February 1972, DAWN ROAD was a band with strong neo-classical overtones.
The repertoire consisted of their own material, largely written by Ulrich Roth and Achim, but also contained snippets of Rachmaninoff for example. The band did not do many shows and rehearsed only on weekends, while Uli spent a lot of his spare time studying the classical guitar and hardly ever touched his electric.
