Liz Vandall is singing the female lead role on “Requiem For An Angel”, which is going to be the next Sky Of Avalon release.
Originally the lead singer for the band “Sahara” from Los Angeles, Liz has previously appeared on Uli’s song “Hiroshima” on his second Transcendental Sky Guitar album “The Dragon”.
Liz Vandall has frequently been called ‘the best female voice in rock’. She has also been U.J.R. lead vocalist on the 1998 G3 tour and made three surprise special guest appearances on the ‘Legends Of Rock’ UK tour in 2002. There she left the audiences speechless with her haunting vocal performance of “Hiroshima” so much so that both Frank Marino as well as Jack Bruce called her ‘the highlight of the evening’. This view was shared by none other than Dougie White, singer with ‘Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’ and by Gary Barden, singer with MSG. Frank Marino was even quoted as saying ‘ Liz has got the best female voice ever...’
Liz is currently working on a solo album.
