26. April 1980 - U.J.R. in concert at the Hall d’Exposition, Charleroi, Belgium.
Electric Sun were performing at a festival. The concert took place during the
recordings of Fire Wind and was subsequently shown on Belgian TV.
FIRE WIND has subsequently been re-released in many different scenarios.
The most important one, highly recommended re-release appeared on SPV in 2002.
Apart from a new booklet which features lots of photographs and notes, the most important aspect is that Uli digitally remastered the original recordings directly from the original master-tapes with excellent sonic results.
A further bonus is a short, but ingenious little new guitar lead in ‘Hiroshima’,which Uli decided to do impromptu during the mastering sessions at Budansathim.
