III)  SYMPHONIC  ROCK  FOR  EUROPE

S.R.F.E. is essentially a live concept which involves a large number of both classical as well as rock musicians on stage. The music is a mixture of Sky Of Avalon, Transcendental Sky Guitar and U.J.R.’s own orchestral arrangements of great classical master pieces.

There are no albums to date, but a live performance on German TV in 1993.
Further performances are envisaged for the second half of 2004 and 2005.


IV)  TRANSCENDENTAL  SKY  PIANO

So far Uli Jon Roth has only written one major work in this series, a neo-romantic masterpiece in the true sense of the word: AQUILA SUITE (12 Concert Studies for Grand Piano) written in 1991. Uli intends to write more pieces for this genre.

Aquila Suite has been released on a variety of samplers (SPV, Event)


V)  ELECTRIC  SUN

Uli Jon Roth’s finest achievements before 1985 were the three ELECTRIC SUN albums he wrote, produced and played on.

VI)  THE  SCORPIONS

Uli’s formative years in the music industry, which he considers his apprenticeship, resulted in five very successful albums. These are accurately charting Uli’s very obvious progress from one year to the next. Even from his early days as a budding guitar innovator, Ulrich, as he was then known, had always operated been at the very forefront of setting the tone and style which countless others since then have tried to
emulate. Ever since his days with Germany’s most internationally successful band ever, an amazing number of musicians in the world have been profoundly influenced by Uli’s musicianship and artistry.

VII)  LEGENDS  OF  ROCK

A framework and mainly a live-concept which is perhaps somewhat less ‘serious’ - more tongue-in-cheek than the previous musical incarnations of our protagonist. With a few definite nostalgic overtones for some listeners, Legends Of Rock provides an arena of brief trips into the recent past and is definitely a lot of fun for those onstage, as well as, hopefully, those in the audience. Uli Jon Roth interacts live with some of his friends who have shared some common ground in the past.

There is one double album to date, albeit the same music is captured on DVD:

VIII)  THE  JIMI HENDRIX  CONCERTS

This series of concerts, most of which took place in the early Nineties, is essentially Uli’s onstage homage to his great mentor, Jimi Hendrix. A parallel can be drawn to the ‘Legends’ concept in that these concerts are basically interpretations and re-visitations of some of the greatest music the history of rock has produced.
