Virgin Killer —
50th Anniversary

Fifty years. One landmark album. Still dangerous.

Uli Jon Roth brings the music of Virgin Killer back to the stage with a full electric band. The guitarist, composer and original Scorpions member returns to songs he helped shape, with their original fire and five decades of artistic growth.

Pictured Life, Catch Your Train, Polar Nights and Yellow Raven belong to a musical world where fierce riffs meet soaring melodies, classical phrasing and explosive improvisation. The anniversary programme centres on Virgin Killer, expanded by selected classics from Uli’s influential Scorpions years.

From the Club to the Festival Mainstage

In a packed club, the show is immediate, physical and close enough to feel every note. On a festival mainstage, it becomes a full-scale celebration for thousands. The identity stays the same: the music is the event.

Live references: Wacken and Rock Hard Festival 2026; headline club performances on the 2026 World Tour in the USA and Europe.

Available as: high-energy club performance · full headline concert · theatre and concert-hall show · major festival production.

Special guests, archival imagery and larger visual elements can be discussed for selected anniversary and festival productions.

An Evening with
Uli Jon Roth

Pictures of Destiny — The Intimate Solo Experience

Music. Images. Stories. One extraordinary evening.

Created for seated theatres and exclusive venues with up to 300 guests, this solo format brings Uli’s music, artistic vision and life into close focus. Alone on stage with his Sky Guitar and a cinematic screen, he performs within a visual and orchestral world where music, painting, memory and imagination flow together.

The screen becomes a virtual stage partner. Live guitar, cinematic sequences and orchestral sound create an experience conceived specifically for the concentration and closeness of the theatre.

Closer to the Music. Closer to the Artist.

Between musical passages, Uli shares the stories behind the Scorpions years, Electric Sun, the invention of the Sky Guitar and In Search of the Alpha Law. Music connected with Pictures of Destiny and Requiem for an Angel opens a window into his wider creative journey.

The spoken passages grow naturally from the music, leaving room for improvisation, reflection and a personal connection with the audience.

Live references: solo performances in England and France in 2026; the solo opening set of the US concerts in 2026.

Available as: exclusive solo theatre show · concert and conversation · selected cultural-festival presentation · an evening combined with Sky Academy or an artist discussion.

03 / BAND · ORCHESTRA · VOICES · VISUAL ART

Pictures of Destiny —
Symphony of Light

Music. Orchestra. Choir. Art. One complete Uli Jon Roth experience.

The Sky Guitar becomes the central voice in a musical landscape of strings, orchestral colours, percussion and human voices. Cinematic projection and Uli’s visual art connect the music to a larger world of images and imagination.

Chamber Orchestra Edition

The band performs in addition to the ten orchestral musicians. This configuration brings the energy of a live band into dialogue with the detail and colour of a chamber ensemble.

Production reference: Japan 2025.

From Chamber Ensemble to Symphony

Further editions can be developed with presenting partners: a compact vocal ensemble of three singers, a larger orchestral line-up, or a full symphony orchestra with solo voices and a choir of up to 60 singers.

These expanded formats are tailored to the venue, artistic partnership and production resources. Repertoire, arrangements, personnel and visual requirements are agreed for each event.

Pictures of Destiny — With Strings

A more intimate ensemble setting brings Uli’s Sky Guitar together with live strings. The closeness of the musicians, the interplay between guitar and bowed instruments, and an atmospheric setting give this version its own distinctive character.

For theatres, intimate concert spaces and special cultural events. The string line-up and production scope are agreed individually.

An Orchestral Vision Since 1993

Uli’s orchestral work reaches back more than three decades. At Symphonic Rock for Europe in Liège in 1993, he took the roles of composer, guitarist and musical director alongside the Brussels Symphony Orchestra, the Namur Rock Chamber Choir and guest musicians including Don Airey.

His 2019 performance with a full orchestra at the Acropolis and the band-plus-orchestra concerts in Japan in 2025 provide further live references for this longstanding artistic vision.

Available for development: expanded concert edition · full symphony and choir edition · festival spectacular · complete concert-and-exhibition experience · residency or cultural weekend.
